The canadian-based orthopedic simulation company is expanding its educational range by releasing the long-awaited trauma module for the world’s first and only virtual reality training simulator for orthopedic open surgery, the Sim-Ortho™.

The educational device now enables simulation training of complex orthopedic procedures in knee, spine and trauma surgery. Situated in a highly realistic 3D environment with detailed imaging, the trainee practices “hands-on” in a risk-free environment. The Sim-Ortho™ training simulator offers haptic feed-back (applied force and resistance) and allows handling and manipulation of multiple orthopedic tools.
